JAWAD ADRA - MANAGING PARTNER

Mr. Jawad Adra is the Founder and Managing Partner of SciTech Systems since 1995. He is a suma cum laude graduate of Santa Clara University in California, with a degree in Political Sciences and Economics. He is also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Club. Before resettling in Lebanon after the war, Jawad Adra spent 15 years working in the Arabian Peninsula as an executive and consultant for major construction and development organizations and for projects in several countries such as Iraq, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

DR. FIDA JDEED - PARTNER

Dr. Fida Jdeed is Founder and Partner in Scitech Systems and Technical Consultant for Intertek International. He was a major contributor in designing programs for consumer protection and products to ensure conformity to quality standards before shipment to destination countries. Dr. Jdeed holds a Ph.D in Geochemistry from the University of California in Santa Barbara. He is also member in a number of professional societies since 1978, among them: American Chemical Society, Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Association of Petroleum Geologists, American Association Advancement of Science, Sigma Chi.

MAKRAM KHALIL - GENERAL MANAGER

Mr. Makram Khalil is Technical and Compliance Director / GCC at SciTech Systems and has over 40 years of professional experience.  He contributed in designing and implementing the KSA Conformity Assessment Program that was contracted to Intertek since 1995 including full conformity assessment and verifications procedures with the main objective of protecting consumers and preventing deceptive practices. Mr. Khalil is currently in charge of ensuring proper implementation of quality assurance technical programs in the Middle East and North Africa on behalf of both Intertek and SciTech Systems.

 

FAWAZ MAALOUF - GENERAL MANAGER

Mr. Fawaz Maalouf is General Manager at SciTech Systems and has over 36 years of professional experience. Mr. Maalouf manages the implementation of the quality assurance programs contracted to Intertek in the MENA region through enforcing proper management system, developing, promoting and implementing effective processes and coordinating between various governmental and stakeholders involved.
